Believing ‘Obama’s America’?

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., speaks at a state Democratic election celebration party in Manchester, N.H., Dec. 10, 2006. New Hampshire voters take their presidential primary responsibilities very seriously, and while Democratic party activists were clearly excited about Obama's first visit to the state Sunday night for a sold-out rally and standing-room only book signing, some made it clear that he'll have to keep coming back for more intimate chats if he wants their support. With the release of “2016: Obama’s America,” the film— which grossed $1.25 million last week out of 169 theaters— has grown in popularity. The Rocky Mountains Pictures film will soon expand to 1,090 theaters, according to EW.com. The debate over the film has increased as much as its popularity.

TheGrio previously reported that director Dinesh D’Souza “has sought to further support his thesis that Obama inherited a hatred of the Western world and all things colonial because of his father’s Kenyan heritage.”
