Watch: Wale Joins Student Activists in Baltimore

With what’s going on in Baltimore right now, it’s pretty difficult just to sit back and watch the events unfold.

People are dying. Several activists have been arrested and remain held in jail. Rapper Wale recognizes the turmoil taking place in the name of justice just like the rest of us. So the D.C. native decided to travel to the city to encourage high school students to remain positive during this time of unrest.

His message to the students was clear: uplift Baltimore in this time of trouble. The “Diced Pineapples” rapper also led a march of students from Baltimore’s Digital Harbor High School through the streets, all the way to the steps of Baltimore City Hall.
