Nelson Mandela fought against an established order. To protest against an established order is the framing for a watchful eye amidst the power structure. That watchful eye can be dangerously cunning as we’ve witnessed through the life of Mandela, who possessed one of the most compelling stories of imprisonment for political fight.

A person imprisoned for holding, expressing, or acting in accord with particular political beliefs in opposition of a government or its political subdivisions best defines political prisoner.
