Philadelphia Police have released video footage of an abduction that occurred, Sunday night in Germantown.

Missing 22-year-old, Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was reportedly walking from a nearby party and was supposed to contact her boyfriend as she was leaving. That call never happened.

As revealed in the surveillance video, a car was parked on the side of the road. Someone gets out of the car and the next scene is Carlesha struggling against her alleged  abductor while being dragged down the street. She did manage to kick out the rear driver’s window before the suspect car sped away.

Family members spoke to local police revealing that she doesn’t live far from where the abduction happened. Flyers have been posted around the block where the victim was taken.

Drugs and criminal activity are said not to be a factor, at this time. The vehicle is described as a 2000-2002 dark grey metallic 4-door Ford Taurus with an unknown PA license and plate on the front bumper and an item in the center bottom of the front windshield.

The suspect was described as a medium-heavy built, 5’10 medium-brown complexioned Black male, aged 25-30 wearing a dark jacket and hooded sweatshirt.
