Victoria Rowell Advocates for Fostered Youth
We were introduced to award-winning actress Victoria Rowell during her days on the popular soap opera, The Young and The Restless. With entertainment being her talent, Rowell has an extended passion in advocating for youth in the foster care system.
In 1990, Victoria created the “Rowell Foster Children Positive Plan,” one that offers emotional support and financial aid to foster children, with a special focus on those who aspire to become actors and dancers.
Because of her work and dedication, the actress will deliver the keynote speech at the Shadow Experience Luncheon, which serves as part of the 4th Annual Congressional Foster Youth Shadow Day.

In addition to being chosen as the keynote speaker, in 2006, Rowell was awarded an honorary doctorate of Human Letters by the University of Southern Maine in recognition of her work for the benefit of foster children.
