Trayvon Martin’s Parents Plan to Release Book

Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, the parents of Trayvon Martin, are planning to release a book about their son’s death, the trial and more.

According to The New York Times, Fulton and Martin have met with publishers to discuss a potential book which would document their experiences and also share the “full picture” of their 17-year-old son, Trayvon.

George Zimmerman, who shot the teen in February 2012, was acquitted of all charges in July 2013.

There is no word on a release date yet; however, the book is expected to discuss issues of race and religion. In August, Fulton released a gospel song, “Joy in the Morning,” in honor of her slain son.
