Tony Farmer, a highly recruited Ohio basketball prospect, collapsed when a judge sentenced him to a three-year prison term this week, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Apparently, he and his  attorney had been hoping for probation.

Farmer had pleaded guilty to charges, including kidnapping, resulting from an April incident where he assaulted and confined his ex-girlfriend. She appeared in court and asked for leniency in sentencing, and some of his teachers and coach his also asked the judge to give him another chance.
