As many people continue to mourn the verdict of the George Zimmerman trial, there is (thankfully) some good news to discuss. Two teenage boys in Lancaster, Pa. rescued a five-year-old girl who’d been kidnapped while playing in her front yard last Thursday afternoon.
Neighbors and police searched for the girl, Jocelyn Rojas, while 15-year-old Temar Boggs and his friend chased the suspect on their bicycles for 15 minutes before he finally gave up.
Temar told CNN, “He stopped at the end of the hill and let her out, and she ran to me and said that she needed her mom.”
As of Monday afternoon, a person of interest in the case is in custody, according to authorities. Jocelyn’s family has referred to Temar as a hero and the young man said he “feels good” about finding the little girl.
Finally, a happy ending!
