Students Pose With N-Word on Shirts
A group of white Arizona high school students are in hot water after officials caught wind of an image depicting the word “ni**er” spelled out on their t-shirts.
A photo shows several Desert Vista High School students forming the racial slur with letters and symbols on black T-shirts worn by each of them.
The picture was taken as part of the schools annual panoramic yearbook picture for seniors. Students are allowed to wear pre-approved shirts with lettering or messages.
Faculty members did not see or approve of the display, and the offensive image did not appears in the panoramic picture.
A school district spokeswoman said the students took the photo after the official yearbook photo was taken.
