A sex tape featuring Virgin Islands’ Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett was leaked online, but later removed Wednesday night, Politico reports.

The Democratic Rep. explained in an email that whoever hacked her computer copied a personal “photograph and a private family video” of her and husband, Jonathan Buckney Small.

“Private photographs shared between my husband and me, as well as a private playful video of ours, including one of our children, were illegally obtained and disseminated via the internet.”

According to news reports, the video shows Plaskett filming and speaking to her husband while he’s wearing make up. One of the couple’s children also makes a short appearance in the video.

“To say my family and I are greatly upset would be a tremendous understatement,” Plaskett said. “As a mother I am outraged that one of my children was exploited in such a way.”

Plaskett’s aids disputed the characterization of the video after it was initially described as a “sex tape.” She was first notified about the leak after being contacted by the media and believes her political enemies facilitated the incident.

“The theft and distribution of these personal images via the internet marks a new low in Virgin Islands politics” she said. “I am shocked and deeply saddened that someone would stoop to such a level to invade my marriage and the love of my family in an attempt to besmirch me politically.”

Plaskett’s Chief of Staff Jerome Murray says they contacted the FBI and Capitol Police to further investigate the swiped video and other forms of evidence.
