Warren Sapp Arrested in Phoenix

Deep sigh.

NFL network analyst Warren Sapp was arrested in Arizona over the weekend.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer, who played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders, was charged with suspension of soliciting a prostitute and assault allegations, during the Super Bowl.

In a report cited by Buzzfeed, an altercation between Sapp and the alleged prostitutes over money spilled into the hallway of the hotel in Phoenix.

Sapps, 42, admitted to being involved with the prostitutes but denied allegations of assault.

He was charged with two misdemeanors.

Since being in police custody, the NFL network suspended him indefinitely without pay.

This is not his first brush with the law.  In 2010, Sapps faced domestic battery charges, which were later dropped.
