Successful Surgery for Derrick Rose

Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose knows struggle, pain and triumph very well.

An amazing ball player, Rose has seen his career physically threatened on multiple occasions. The most recent, a torn medial meniscus in his right knee.

But there’s hopeful news on deck!

After a successful surgery Friday morning, where team physician Brian Cole removed the damaged part of Rose’s meniscus, the point guard walked out of the hospital and expected to begin rehab on Saturday.

Rose is estimated to return to the game, for a third time, in four-to-six weeks, which means that he could possibly finish the regular season playing either 9 games or the final three.

He has proven to be a fighter and we wish him the best in his recovery!
