Mo’Ne Davis Makes LLWS History

Congratulations to Mo’Ne Davis!

The 13-year-old phenom pitcher has made history as the first girl to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series.

While she’s the 18th girl to play in the LLWS, she is the first to accomplish this feat. Mo’Ne lead her team, Taney Youth Baseball Association of Philadelphia, to a 4-0 victory over a Tennessee team on Friday, according to Sports Illustrated.

On Sunday, Mo’Ne did not pitch; however, she did contribute a single hit to her team’s victory. Mo’Ne will take the mound again on Wednesday against the Las Vegas team that beat Chicago’s Jackie Robinson team this weekend.

We wish Mo’Ne all the best!
