Marshawn Lynch Agrees to Skittles Deal
Seattle Seahawk running back Marshawn Lynch’s love affair with Skittles is no secret.
Back in the day, his mother would give him the candy, which she dubbed “power pellets.” But on Tuesday, the NFL player is expected to receive financial compensation for giving the candy company publicity.
According to ESPN, it is the first time the brand has signed an athlete. While the exact amount is unspecified, Skittles is expected to donate “$10,000 to Lynch’s Fam First Foundation for every touchdown he scores in Sunday’s Super Bowl.”
Skittles has also created a limited-edition “Seattle Mix” featuring only blue and green candies. To read the full story, click HERE.
