In his first interview since revealing his homosexuality in a new Sports Illustrated article, NBA player Jason Collins spoke with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America about being lauded as the first “out” major sports athlete, the support from President Obama and others, and how he quietly payed homage to the gay community on the basketball court.
