Serena Williams reigns supreme once again after defeating Maria Sharapova on the tennis court Thursday.
The win is one of many for the famed tennis star, who advanced to the Wimbledon finals after the victory.
Williams will enter Saturday’s final as a heavy favorite against Garbiñe Muguruza, who is playing her very first Grand Slam final at the age of 21. Muguruza claimed victory over 2012 Wimbledon finalist Agnieszka Raswanska in the first semifinal of the day, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Williams, who has never won all four Grand Slams in one year, is on track so far for 2015 to do so. She has victories at both the Australian and French Opens. If she wins on Saturday, she will first complete the “Serena Slam” — winning four majors in a row.
