WATCH: Rev. Al Sharpton Speaks on Sony Hack
Civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton hasn’t called for Sony co-chair Amy Pascal’s resignation over racially insensitive emails, but he does insist “concrete” action needs to take place.
Pascal’s emails, including remarks about President Barack Obama and TV being the “new Black baby,” was just one of the causalities of the recent Sony hack.
On Thursday, Sharpton met with Pascal, who has publicly apologized, to discuss racial bias and the lack of diversity in the movie industry.
