Renisha McBride Shooter Gets Trial Date
The man accused of killing 19-year-old Renisha McBride last year will go to trial in June.
Theodore Wafer will stand trial June 2 through June 13 for second-degree murder after a judge rejected a self-defense argument last month. The 54-year-old airport employee entered a not guilty plea during a hearing this week.

The case, which sparked nationwide outrage, has been compared to Trayvon Martin and civil rights groups have claimed race played a part in the tragic events.
