Congratulations are in order for R&B singer Ciara and rapper Future! The couple, who got engaged last October, is expecting their first child together, Ciara confirmed Tuesday on The View.
Detroit Lions Hire Jim Caldwell
The Detroit Lions wanted to replace Jim Schwartz with someone with experience as a head coach. The Lions landed one, though he appears to be Plan B. Jim Caldwell has been hired by Detroit, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press on Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the move had not been announced. ESPN first reported the hire.
Congratulations to Charles Dutton! The Pan African Film Festival organizers have announced that the upcoming gathering will honor him with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony, which takes place in Hollywood, will highlight his work in TV and film including the titular role on Roc.
AKA Charters Chapter in South Africa
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has recently charted its first chapter in South Africa, according to a press release. The Psi Tau Omega chapter includes South African communities Pretoria and Soweto, the ancestral home of late anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, and currently has 15 members. Congratulations!
Pebbles Reid’s Daughter to Star on Reality Show
It seems as though everyone is getting a reality show these days. After getting into quite the war of words with TLC’s Chilli, it appears as though Pebbles Reid’s daughter, Ashley, will be starring in a new reality show with her brothers, Aaron and Antonio Reid Jr. No word yet on which network will air the show.

Congratulations to Evan Ross (son of Diana Ross) and Ashlee Simpson (sister of Jessica Simpson)! The happy couple, who began dating last year, announced their engagement on Twitter Monday night.
