Yet another juror in the high-profile George Zimmerman case has spoken her mind. Juror B-29, also known as Maddy, told Robin Roberts of ABC News that she felt as though Zimmerman “got away with murder.” In the interview, the woman also said she favored convicting Zimmerman of second-degree murder, but there was not enough evidence.
During a Nevada parole hearing, former football star O.J. Simpson expressed regret for the actions leading to his armed robbery and kidnapping sentence. The 66-year-old said he’s been a “model prisoner” and has even become a counselor of sorts to other inmates. Simpson is serving up to a 33 years behind bars for a botched attempt to reclaim his memorabilia in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2007. A ruling is expected next week.
The trailer for VH1’s “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” dropped on Thursday. The movie, which stars Drew Sidora as T-Boz, Lil’ Mama as Left Eye, Keke Palmer as Chilli, is set to premiere in October. The real-life surviving members, Chilli and T-Boz, executive produced the biopic. We’re digging the scene, digging on you…okay, that’s enough for now.

The 2013 MLB Beacon Awards Luncheon is expected to honor iconic singer Aretha Franklin and retired baseball and football All-Star Bo Jackson next month. The awards were established to honor people who fought for equal rights as part of MLB’s annual Civil Rights game. The Chicago White Sox will host this year’s Civil Rights Game against the Texas Rangers on Aug. 24.
