Body Found In Atlanta Park Hanging from Tree
The body of a man found in what many report to be a popular meeting spot for the KKK has Atlanta community members on edge.
Authorities said suicide is suspected in the man’s death, whose body was found hanging from a tree in Piedmont Park early Thursday.
11 Alive reports that Grady EMS, Atlanta Police and the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office responded to the scene shortly after the body was discovered around 5 a.m.
“There were no discernible signs of a struggle or foul play. The scene was consistent with a suicide. Fulton County Medical Examiner Investigator Hagar responded and concurred that the death was consistent with a suicide,” Kim Jones of the Atlanta police said in a release.
But some remain skeptical of the officials’ findings.
