Obama to Give Farewell Speech in Chicago

On the evening of Jan. 10, President Barack Obama will deliver a farewell address to the people of America, an announcement on the White House’s government website states.

The event, set to take place at the McCormick Place in Chicago, is free and open to the public. The speech will also be live streamed and available to view online and on White House social media channels.

Members of the public are encouraged to share there own reflections on the last eight years and what you hope to see in the future by using the #YesWeCan hashtag.
