New Jersey High School Senior Gets Into Every Ivy League School!

Ifeoma White-Thorpe is like many college-bound high school students during this time of year.

They’re constantly on the look out for their college acceptance letters and deciding where they will attend school in the fall. White-Thorpe has a plethora of options at her disposal that include all 8 Ivy League schools accepting her including Stanford University. Yes, White-Thorpe got into Harvard, Yale, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth and Princeton.

White-Thorpe told WABC-TV of her future plans why she applied to those schools, saying, “I want to go into global health and study biology and so many of them have great research facilities, so I was like, I might as well just shoot my shot and apply.”

Clearly, White-Thorpe shooting her shot paid off in the best way possible.

She recalls receiving her last acceptance letter, saying, “”I was shaking, I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight and I clicked it and it said ‘Congratulations’ and I was like oh my goodness and then I was like, what did I say?”

White-Thorpe excels in all her AP classes and is the student government president.

One thing that could be a deciding factor among the prestigious schools is how much money they offer White-Thorpe.

“At this point none of the schools I’ve applied to said they give merit scholarships, so I’m praying that they give me some more financial aid or some money, shout out to all of those schools, please give me something.”

We’re sure more than a few of those colleges will kick in some money for White-Thorpe.
