Missing Clark Atlanta Student Found

Alexis Jones- Rhodes, a Clark Atlanta student, who had been missing since Monday was found safe and unharmed in Illinois on Thursday, reports WBS TV.

Jones-Rhodes left her family’s home on Monday morning with cap and gown in hand and was thought to be headed to her Clark Atlanta graduation.

When she did not walk across the stage and after learning that Alexis never checked in, the 22-year-old’s family and friends put up fliers and made a public plea for her safe return.

Adding to the concern, a university representative informed Channel 2’s Amy Napier Viteri, that there was no record of Jones-Rhodes paying fees for her cap and gown nor was her name on the official list.

Little details have been revealed regarding her disappearance, however, police say there was no foul play involved.
