Miss USA Pageant Finds New Network

The Miss USA pageant, which will no longer air on NBC, has found a new home despite the Donald Trump controversy. The Reelz channel has picked it up.

Earlier this week, NBC ended its relationship with Donald Trump after the mogul and GOP presidential candidate made offensive comments about Mexican immigrants during a campaign speech.

Since the 69-year-old has ties to the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, the network has opted out of airing the competition.

Luckily, Reelz, which has entertainment shows including “Hollywood Hillbillies” and repeats of “Access Hollywood Live,” has swooped in to “save the sash.”

The contest will air Sunday, July 12 at 8 p.m. EST.
