
When President Obama was first elected in 2008, many political experts said his ability to connect with young people via social media was one of his biggest assets. Indeed, throughout the Obama Administration, the president has used Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram to get his message out to constituents. Now as the Obama years are winding down (*heavy sigh*), First Lady Michelle Obama is adding yet another social media platform to her repertoire, Snapchat!

Mrs. Obama will use the social networking platform to give folks a behind-the-scenes look at the happenings at the White House.

She’ll also use Snapchat to engage with young people about her heathy living and educational initiatives like Let Girls Learn and Let’s Move.
