It’s a Big Day for Malia Obama!

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle have reason to release a bounty of tears today as they witness their first born child Malia graduate from Sidwell Friends School in Washington.

During an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show Thursday night, when speaking on the upcoming ceremony and the amount of tears to come, Obama noted, “it’s going to be bad.”

The feeling is super relatable. Graduating high school brings on a new perspective of life and all it has to offer. It seems to be a lot harder on the parentals too. Graduates are ready to ditch the controlled schedule and float into the next journey.

During her high school career, Malia already made some major moves toward her future plans. She landed a gig as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s TV series, Extant, in 2014. Last month, the White House announced that after taking a year off, she’ll be attending Harvard University.

Congrats, Malia!
