Did Laura Ingraham Give A Nazi Salute?!

So…Lauran Ingraham spoke Wednesday evening at the Republican National Convention. But it isn’t her fiery speech that is garnering attention.

The conservative talk show host served up the expected anti-Hillary Clinton rhetoric for Republicans, but it was the very nazi-like gesture that Ingraham executed at the end of her speech that raised eyebrows.

Some outlets are referring to Ingraham’s gesture as an “awkward wave,” but many viewers took to Twitter at record speed to call her out for such a tasteless and offensive hand signal.

Conservatives rushed to Ingraham’s defense by digging up a series of images of Hillary Clinton executed the same hand gesture.

Soon after Ingraham’s speech, Donald Trump took to Twitter to thank her. In his tweet he included the #AmericaFirst hashtag, a phrase that holds an ugly spot in US history, according to a report by CNN.

The outlet writes it was “the name of the isolationist, defeatist, anti-Semitic national organization that urged the country to appease Adolf Hitler.”
