LAPD Turns Cosby Case over to District Attorney

The Los Angeles Police Department has turned over the results of its investigation regarding sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby to the L.A. County District Attorney’s office, TMZ reports.

The evidence is related to allegations made by Chloe Goins, who says the comedian gave her a drink while at the Playboy mansion in 2008 that caused her to black out. She was 18 at the time of the alleged assault.

Goins said she woke up half naked to Cosby licking her toes with his pants down. Cosby’s attorneys have repeatedly denied the allegations, contending the comedian wasn’t even at the party.

The move could result in charges against Cosby. He is expected to appear in court this month for a deposition related to allegations that he sexually assaulted Judy Huth.
