Joe Biden for President?

Vice President Joe Biden may be running for president, according to the New York Times.

The outlet reports that Biden, who currently serves as vice president of the United States, called one of his most outspoken supporters and wrestled with the question of whether he should entire the 2016 presidential election.

He spoke with Richard A. Harpootlian, former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party for approximately an hour. He did not reveal which way he was leaning, according to a Democrat who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The source told the paper that Biden spoke openly about the lingering affects of his son Beau’s death, and that he was grappling with whether he could devote his full energy to a campaign. The vice president also reportedly directed Harpootlian to get in touch with one of his closest political advisers, Mike Donilon.
