Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield are slated to appear in Universal’s upcoming romantic comedy The Photograph, Variety announced Tuesday.

Directed by Stella Meghie and produced by Will Packer, the film is said to center “on intertwining love stories in the past and present.”

Meghie wowed Universal execs with the film’s original script and was brought on to serve not only as a director but an executive producer as well.

Rae will also serve an EP. The internet sensation-turned-film-and-television leading lady has a slew of projects in the works.

After appearing in The Hate U Give, Rae can be next seen in the upcoming film Little. Along with her Insecure series, which set to premiere this year, she is scheduled to produce and star in HBO’s limited series The Dolls.

Stanfield, who achieved small screen success on Donald Glover’s Atlanta and silver screen accolades with Get Out and Sorry to Bother You, can be seen on Netflix’s Someone Great beginning April 19.
