Happy Headline: Teens Win Stock Market Challenge

Understanding the stock market is no easy feat, but these Chicago teens have found a way to master it.

Four students from the city’s predominately Black Al Raby High School have won the Stock Trading Challenge, sponsored by financial firm Magnetar Capital.

Hakeem Sheppard and Anthony Knight, Keshawn Johnson and Kenneth Dean began studying stocks last month and won first place among 20 schools in the Chicago area by turning $100,000 into $117,000.
