Chicago police have charged a 13-year-old girl with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 16-year-old DeKayla Dansberry.

The girl, who is due in court Tuesday, turned herself in Monday, ABC 7 reports. Charges against a second suspect who remains in custody are pending.

Dansberry was a freshman at Johnson College Prep. She was stabbed in the chest around 7:30 pm at the Parkway Gardens Homes near west 64th and South King Drive Saturday night.

Investigators have not released any information about what may have prompted a fight that led to her death.

Two people taken into custody for questioning were later released.
