The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is back in the headlines. Only days after a fan released a trailer putting a modern-day spin on the series, one of the show’s cast members came forward announcing their interest in a potential reboot.

Karyn Parsons, known for her role as Hilary Banks on the series, shared her approval of a possible reboot during an interview with Bold TV on Monday. “Of course, I would be there, of course I would,” Parsons said.

Despite her initial excitement, Parsons said the loss of leading cast member James Avery, who died on December 31, 2013 from complications following open heart surgery, makes talks of a reboot hard to imagine. “I have a hard time seeing it happen, especially since we lost James Avery, so it seems hard to imagine,” she said. “But yeah, I would follow those guys anywhere they go.”

Parsons isn’t the only Fresh Prince cast member looking to keep the show’s legacy alive.

In February, Will Smith partnered with HarperCollins Children’s Books and author Denene Millner to publish Fresh Princess.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the book is set to follow “Destiny, a cool, energetic, and strong-willed girl who approaches every day with her own signature style – that is, until she moves to a brand-new neighborhood, where nothing looks quite the same as it did at her old house. Even with new challenges and new friends to make, Destiny always has a plan. She’ll stop at nothing to find the perfect chance to jump in and ring the fun to any situation.”

Fresh Princess will be released on April 2.
