Former NFL Player Helps 145th Family Get Home
Former NFL player Warrick Dunn has a reason to celebrate.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer helped his 145th single-parent family purchase a home earlier this month. Dunn has helped families secure a home by providing the down payment for their residence. He recently took to Twitter to announce his 145th family.
“Congratulations to Recipient #145. She has worked so hard to achieve her dream of homeownership,” Dunn tweeted.
Xeniya McBroom and her daughter were the lucky recipients.
“For me, it’s all about when the family walks through, it’s all about them,” said Dunn during an interview with Fox 13.
Dunn’s “Home for the Holidays” charity partnered with Habitat for Humanity to make this first-time homebuyer’s dream come true. Each room was careful decorated to make the McBrooms feel right at home.
Outstanding. Check out the touching story below.
