Looking to get involved in an important and positive social media movement?

Chelsea Clinton is helping to launch Flash Flood For Good to raise awareness and funds for children in Ethiopia, Myanmar and Rwanda.  The online effort was officially unleashed during the 2013 Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting allowing the collective social media reach of more than 400 million to be activated over the 72- hour period.

The initiative aims to focus the attention of global leaders, not-for-profits, academics, celebrities, corporate brands and the general public on the need for clean drinking water worldwide.

Fans and followers are being asked to spread the message and donate. Every $10 donation generated from the movement will provide one child with clean drinking water for an entire year through the Procter & Gamble Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program.

If you want to donate, you can visit to turn up the heat on the 72-hour awareness campaign.  You can also donate at the site or text “flood” to 41010 to make a $1o donation via mobile devices.  For more info, click the link or follow @flashflood4good on Twitter.
