East Coast Forecast ‘Dead-on’ for Storm
Meteorologists were dead-on when predicting the nightmare of a snowstorm set to hit the East Coast.
According to forecasters, the snowfall will be measured in feet, gale force winds, coastal flooding and white-out conditions.
The feared storm will affect roughly 50 million residents, and struck the Ohio Valley into Virginia early Friday morning. It is approaching Washington’s doorstep a couple hours earlier than predicted.
Blizzard warnings stretched from Washington to New York with heavy snow likely to go even further north than that, stopping just short of Boston.
Some areas are predicted to receive 30 inches or more of snow.
