Duke Claims 5th NCAA Title

Duke University’s Men’s Basketball team claimed its fifth NCAA championship last night and they have four freshmen to thank for it.

The Blue Devils took home the crown after defeating a tough Wisconsin team (68-63).

Freshmen guards Tyus Jones and Grayson Allen led the Blue Devils with 23 and 16 points, respectively. Jahlil Okafor, who also happens to be National Freshman of the Year, had 10 points despite spending most of the second half on the bench. Justise Winslow, the squad’s fourth prized freshman, scored 11 points in the game.

“My team had great grit and determination. Our defense down the stretch was magnificent,” said Duke head coach Mike Kryzewski to CNN.
