Donald Sterling Attends Black Church Service

Donald Sterling will no longer receive Lifetime Achievement Award from the NAACP.

It seems like Donald Sterling is seeking redemption at church…a Black church.

The former L.A. Clippers owner spent his Sunday morning at Praises of Zion Missionary Baptist Church after meeting with the pastor, J. Benjamin Hardwick, a few weeks earlier, according to USA Today.

“I want you to know, my friend, we pray for you,” Hardwick told Sterling.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver fined Sterling $2.5 million and banned him from the league f0r life after an audio recording of Sterling making racial comments about African Americans was released to the public.

Since the decision, Sterling has surrendered his control over the Clippers and Steve Ballmer, former Microsoft CEO, has taken on the role.
