Man Gunned Down in Front of Children
Two young children saw their father shot and killed in Cobb County Georgia Sunday, Channel 2 Action News reports.
8-year-old Elijah and his sister, Alisha, 6, were in an SUV with their father when someone shot and killed him.
“He made us happy,” Alisha said. “He always made us proud. He always made us proud of him.”
The children said their father, 42-year-old Larry Grigsby, did not fight with anyone before the shooting.
“He didn’t do anything to like get him shot or nothing,” Elijah said.

Police say Grigsby was in an SUV with his children when someone opened fire through a window, sending the SUV crashing into a wooded area along Six Flags Parkway. The shooting happened shortly after Grigsby dropped off a girlfriend’s daughter.
Grigsby’s cousin, Charles Pratt, said the children are struggling to make sense of what happened.
“Some of his blood was on them. That’s what’s hard to deal with. That’s something that will stick with them the rest of their lives,” he said.
No one is in custody. Grisgby’s family is urging anyone who knows anything about his murder to come forward.
