Black Lives Matter Co-Founder to Speak at UIC

Activist and Black Lives Matter Co-founder Alicia Garza will deliver a speech at the University of Illinois at Chicago on Tuesday, April 5.

Black Lives Matter has been a driving force behind the fight against the harsh reality of deep-rooted racial issues in America. The effects of such activism can be seen via a shift of the widespread public discussion about racism and inequality.

Admission to the event is free. Call 312-996-2950 for more information.
