Lena Eaton, of Indiana, has beaten the odds and won the lottery twice in a span of 3 months. In August, she won $300,000 dollars. And last Thursday she turned in another winning ticket for $99,999.
Her first big win was from a Quick Draw ticket, and the second win from a scratch-off.
She had a one in 5.7 trillion odd of winning both, Indystar.com reports.
Eaton told lottery officials that she has been using the money to make home improvements.
She is also very dedicated to helping her family, which includes 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and more than 20 great grandchildren.
“It’s been a pleasure being able to help them. I’ve got good kids,” she tells Indystar.
