88-Year-Old Tuskegee Airman Robbed in Detroit

In today’s “are you kidding me?” news, former Tuskegee Airman, Jesse Rutledge, 88, was car jacked by three teenagers in Detroit. Rutledge was leaving the barbershop in broad daylight on Saturday when he was robbed at gunpoint. The youngest of the thieves was only 13-years-old, and he was the one with the gun! Thankfully, police were able to track down the teenagers and the stolen vehicle.

It’s unfortunate that a war hero had to experience such blatant disrespect.
