5 Men Charged for Robbing guests at House Party

Five Illinois men are charged with home invasion and armed robbery after stealing from guests at a house party they intruded.
Five people, including three on parole, have been charged with home invasion and armed robbery after they showed up at a house party overnight and robbed people at gunpoint in unincorporated Will County, police said. Five Illinois men have been charged with home invasion and armed robbery after stealing from guests at a house party they intruded. According to the Chicago Tribune, four of the men showed up at the home wearing dark clothing and masks or scarves to cover their faces. Two of the men pulled out guns then they all began to rob party-goers of their wallets, cell phones and money, according to police. Afterwards, the men fled on foot.

Police were able to track down the robbers by connecting them to a vehicle driven by an accomplice.

Rodney G. Parks, 22, Darius Strong, 24, Deathray Anderson, 22, Elijah Watson, 17, and Mitchell M. Thompson, 18 have each been charged. Parks, Strong and Anderson are currently on parole.
