Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger girl..

I ask again, is Young Thug the R&B voice we’ve been waiting for?

Of course not.

And although I occasionally ask myself “what’s on his biscuit?” I can’t help but to admit his ear for music and modern-day trap musings. His sound and tone wins everytime. The electric rapper recently announced adding a new swag to his winning streak. Yesterday he shared that he’s dropping a new album this week executive produced by Drake. However, instead of his signature rap flow, he’ll be singing.

Singing album this week,” Thug wrote on Twitter last night. “EASY BREEZY BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS. @Drake will be EP’n my singing album.”

The new project will be Thugger’s first release since Jeffery, which dropped last year. Although a new Rich Gang Album was scheduled to hit the innernetz a few weeks ago, the due date (April 14) came and went with no new tunes. But even still the Atlanta rapper has been keeping busy.

Young thug has teamed up with Frank Ocean on “Slide On Me” and also shared a track with Calvin Harris for “Heatstroke,” which also feature Pharrell and Ariana grande. (An unlikely pairing but good to say the least, listen here)

He was also a guest feature on recent projects from Rick Ross, Mike WiLL Made-It and Shad Da God, and also made an appearance on The Fate of the Furious soundtrack.

So while we await his newest offering, revisit Jeffrey here.
