The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar Gets “Best Duo of The Year” Award for Inglewood Performance
When two top-selling artists cross paths = madness.
The Weeknd has been recently serving falsetto goodness on his “Starboy: The Legend of the Fall” tour. He recently stopped in Inglewood, California on Saturday night, pulling out a trick from under his sleeve. Abel welcomed his “Sidewalks” collaborator Kendrick Lamar, to the stage, who’s native hometown is the not-so-far away Compton.

In December of last year, The Weeknd saw not 1 or 2 but all of his singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was on the way to being 2016’s third biggest debut. Kendrick is riding a similar wave as all 14 track from DAMN. also charted on Billboard’s Hot 100, making it 2017’s best selling Billboard chart debut.
Over the weekend, the talented pair not only performed “Sidewalks” but Kendrick came through with a solo performance of his own, stunning the crowd with a fire rendition of “Humble.” Of course attendees and fans took to twitter to share their reactions.
Kendrick Lamar just made a surprise appearance during The Weeknd's set at The Forum. I've never heard an audience scream like that. Ever.
