Watch Khalid Perform a Moving Cover of Frank Ocean’s “Lost” [VIDEO]

Following his hit single “Location” and standout album American Teen, Khalid appears to be on the fast track to stardom. Dropping by BBC Radio 1’s Piano Sessions, the El Paso, TX singer once again showcased his superior vocal talents by performing a superb cover of Frank Ocean’s “Lost.”

Backed by just a guitar and keys, Khalid delivers a warm rendition of Ocean’s descriptive channel Orange album cut that feels just as moving as the original song. In addition to covering “Lost,” Khalid also blessed the BBC Sessions with a performance of his breakout hit “Location.”

This isn’t the first time the 19-year-old crooner has covered a song from Frank Ocean’s catalog. Back in May, Khalid delivered an acoustic cover of “Lovecrimes” off of Ocean’s nostalgia ULTRA.

Riding the momentum of his debut album, Khalid has been keeping by serving up some new tunes as of late. Back in May, the RCA artist appears alongside Future on Calvin Harris’ Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 single, “Rollin.” Khalid also let loose his “Young, Dumb, & Broke (Remix)” featuring Lil Yachty and Rae Sremmurd earlier this month.
