Watch “BAM” and Check Out the Latest Preview to JAY-Z’s “Kill JAY-Z”
“I’m not a businessman, I’m a business, man.”
JAY-Z has officially scored his 14th No.1 album on the Billboard 200. On Tuesday (July 18), the hip-hop mogul kept the ball rolling with another video clip from his latest chart-topping project, 4:44.
The new preview is a visual for “Kill JAY-Z” and features an aerial shot of a figure laying on the ground in a deserted area. As the camera pans out, the frame widens while the figure decreases in size until the entire clip eventually fades to black. Whether or not this arrives as a counterpart to the “Kill Jay Z” teaser released previously, we can’t say. Nevertheless, it’s pretty fun sitting back and watching Hov’s magic unfold.

Late last week, JAY dropped the visual for “BAM” and headed to Kingston, Jamaica to reconnect with Damian Marley, who is featured on the 4:44 album cut. On a quick tour throughout Jamrock, Hov gets a bit introspective as he chats with the JA native. “The prophets, in the beginning, were musicians,” he muses while walking with Marley. “They were poets, writers. That’s what we’ve been tasked with in this life. It’s actually kind of humbling.” Later, he shares: “We’re all vessels. We’re whistles. The wind goes through us. We make the noise.”
Check out the short clip and the full video to “BAM,” here. As per usual, the visual is available to TIDAL members only. So the real question is, what are you waiting for? Sign up now and stay tuned for more updates slated to arrive this Friday at 4:44 p.m. ET.
