Um… Did Ludacris Photoshop His Abs In His New Music Video?
Ludacris has been focused on acting lately with roles on shows like Empire and as tech genius Tej Parker in the latest Fast and Furious film, The Fate of the Furious.
Therefore, many people were surprised when Luda dropped his video “Vitamin D” which uses Sisqo’s “Thong Song” as a sample. However, the video itself wasn’t the only thing that was shocking.
Many fans were aghast to see the star sporting some obviously technologically enhanced abs. Twitter even spiraled out of control comparing the “muscles” to King’s Hawaiian rolls…which are delicious by the way! Luda himself even joined in of the fun saying, “I did a lot of sit up for that.” However, if you thought the Chicken-n-Beer rapper was trying to get over on his fans, you haven’t been paying attention.

Ludacris has been making jokes about CGI for nearly two decades. Back in 2001, the rapper gave himself a tiny body and a big head in his “Rollout” video, in 2004’s “Get Back” the video was full of gigantic heads and jumbo arms and in 2010’s “How Low” he also briefly gave himself a tiny body.
In “Vitamin D” the rapper turned actor plays a plastic surgeon, so it’s fitting that he chose to use CGI on his abs. Since folks have been more focused on Luda’s acting as of late, it’s fair that many of them may have forgotten that CGI is kind of his thing.
It's ok they slow RT @chris_oneto: he's supposed to have CGI & he looks at them at the end of the video & sees em gone. It's intentional
