As the auteur of the Beach House series, it’s pretty evident that Ty Dolla Sign has a certain affinity for the life aquatic. Now, the singer/songwriter is looking to bring a bit of the ocean home in grand style by building a lavish fish tank in his Long Beach, California crib.
In order to cross off the latest box on his baller bucket list, Ty enlisted the experts over at Animal Planet’s Tanked. The cast recently visited his West Coast pad to get to work on a huge freshwater tank that will serve as a centerpiece in what looks to be the main living area.
Upon the arrival of the Tanked crew, it’s evident that Ty Dolla Sign isn’t exactly a morning person. Nevertheless, the Cali rap crooner is eager to get started on the lavish project. After giving the cast a quick tour of the crib and offering them an early morning pick-me-up from his well stocked liquor cabinet, Ty and company get ready to tackle the big task of building the tank.
Ty’s asks for his lavish fish tank include a rock inset and replicas of his awards embedded into a wall. Check out the clip below and catch the full episode of Tanked tonight (June2) at 10PM ET/9PM CT on Animal Planet to see how well the pros can pimp Ty’s fish tank.
Fresh of an assist on Meek Mill’s “Whatever You Need,” Ty Dolla Sign is currently crafting his anticipated new album, Beach House 3.
